Bio

I'm a materials scientist and engineer who has been exploring the intersection between clean energy technology, policy, and investment. At the Toyota Research Institute (TRI), I serve as the Manager for the Carbon Neutral Strategy team which uses multidisciplinary energy systems modeling to inform strategic decision making on topics including hydrogen, EV charging, and critical materials. During my undergraduate and Ph.D. tenure, I applied my materials science education to experimental, sustainable energy research, building and characterizing thin film solar cells, grid-scale batteries, and solid-state electrolyzers. Since graduating from Stanford in 2018, I spent the next few years broadening my understanding of the energy ecosystem through a series of energy policy fellowships at the California Energy Commission (CEC), the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), and the Vehicle Technologies Office at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). In 2020, I moved to Frankfurt, Germany to join Kia Europe, where I deepened my familiarity with the business/technology interface by setting electric vehicle (EV) charging strategy and informing EV product planning.
