Bio

I’m the CEO and Owner of The Solís Group (TSG). Founded in 1992, TSG provides project management support services for large-scale infrastructure programs. A thirty year industry veteran, I provide program management oversight and technical advisory skills for public transportation and infrastructure projects. I am responsible for overseeing a staff of 30+ and manages a portfolio of transportation projects valued in excess of $10 billion. My expertise lies in the development and oversight of compliance programs for transportation agencies including XBE programs, labor compliance programs, project labor agreement administration, and targeted worker programs. I currently lead the TSG team working on multiple projects for LA Metro. I am a Labor Agreement negotiator and i oversee DBE outreach and compliance for the I405 freeway widening; the largest project ever completed in Orange County. I annually donate over $100k to organizations in California, Hawaii, and Texas. My philanthropic efforts focus on youth, scholarships, in-need, health, and animal causes. I sit on multiple APTA committees and is the vice chair of APTA’s Small Business committee. I am a graduate of the Leadership APTA program, Class of 2019 and Stanford’s School of Business. Currently i was asked to become a board member for CASA, a frug and alcohol rehabilitation and treatment center in Pasadena , Ca. I have a son who works on the compliance side of the firm, a daughter who is about to grad school (NY), and a son who runs my Las Vegas office.

I'm passionate about

Travel to new places, facing my fears of heights, and Snoopy collecting! I am a corporate and individual donor to the Charles Schultz museum (author and illustrator of the Peanuts comics) and visit often!
