My name is Sholpan. I'm living in Almaty, Kazakhstan in the middle of Central Asia.
For today I'm director of the marketing department at the Creative Industries Development Center LLP of Almaty City. Also I member of promotion team of TEDxAstana 2021, 2022, 2023.
I'm 35, married.

An idea worth spreading
I believe two ideas are worth spreading:
1. It is the availability of knowledge to everyone, regardless of their religion, place of residence and age.
2. Men and women are equal from birth.

The TED story
I started as a member of team, who organised offline TEDxAstana 2021 at pandemic time of Covid-19. It was hard and very interesting to work together with a big team of professionals. In 2022 we organized next TEDxAstana in time when our country was survived an attempted coup. We started to share and spreading ideas about decolonization of Kazakhstan after Soviet Union regime. Even after 30 years as independent country. Now we start to prepare next TEDx Event)
