Bio
Olivia Wells is finishing her bachelor's degree in Lithuania at Vytautas Magnus University in the Faculty of International Politics and Development Studies. Born and raised in New York City, Olivia graduated first in her class from Professional Performing Arts School and has received several academic achievement awards and scholarships for her secondary and post-secondary studies. She has lived and studied all over the world, including Denmark, Venezuela, Greece, and Israel. During her time in Greece, she worked with the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy, where she spearheaded several projects concerning the Balkan states. She currently works with the international human rights organization PACT in Lithuania as a consultant, where she is involved in projects concerning democracy implementation and civil society engagement in Belarus. She is also a published writer and a documentary filmmaker and has produced, written, and directed a feature and several shorts. She is currently working on releasing her latest film, which tackles the issue of homelessness in America. Olivia is fluent in English and Ancient Greek and is conversationally fluent in Spanish. She is also professionally trained in classical ballet and piano. This past summer Olivia worked with WITNESS, a human rights NGO that trains people in how to use film to document human rights violations and protect their civil liberties.
