Alex Zhang

I am an operator, curator, and community architect who finds himself at the intersection of multiple disciplines, often thriving in environments of primordial nature. I am currently the Chief Creative Officer of Powder Mountain. Preciously, I was the Mayor of Friends with Benefits, a community owned organization that utilizes Web3 to help cultural creators and maintainers gain agency over their cultural production. Previously, I was the President and Creative Director of Summit, a family of companies and the owners of Powder Mountain Ski Resort. Before that, I built tech products, curated exhibitions, managed bands, and threw large format events. I invest time and resources into people who are interested in challenging the possibilities of scaling human coordination through technology (ERC-721, ERC-20) and new organizational frameworks (DAOs, Governance, Communities as Markets).
