Bio
Arriving in San Francisco in the winter of 1994, Marla Aufmuth began her career at a little bi-monthly magazine called Wired. As Photo Editor, she concepted photographs, hired photographers, and helped launch multiple channels of HotWired while watching the beginning of the dot.coms bloom. Multiple years of Mark Twain's infamous San Francisco summers encouraged her to shed her down jacket and head to the warmer climes of Los Angeles, where she basked in perpetual sunshine while photographing editorial and corporate assignments for such clients as Nike, Converse, DirecTV and Wired. After seven years in the City of Angels, the pull of her native NorCal has lured her back to the East Bay to set up shop specializing in events and corporate lifestyle photography.
I'm passionate about
cheese, tennis and photography.
