Bio

Hi, my name is Mateusz Czerniej, and I am a dynamic and socially active individual passionate about bringing people together through events. I also love combining social events with education, as I find them to be a wonderful combination. With a natural ability to connect with others and an infectious energy, I have become a force to be reckoned with in the events industry. Some of the biggest events that I have organized include: Piknik Naukowy - The biggest science fair in Europe, held in Raszyńska Model United Nations (RaszMUN23) - An educational event that brings the United Nations topics to be discussed by the youth. And many more! As the founder of several successful events, I discovered that I have a talent for bringing people together and creating an easy working environment. Not only do I love debating and have debated throughout my high school career, but I also discovered Model United Nations (MUN), which completely changed my life. The social aspect and the debating had me falling in love with my first conference, and I decided then that I needed to organize one. Well, it became a reality, and I am proud of it. Aside from events, I am also passionate about physics and consider myself a big contributor to the physics circle that our professor runs. I have made countless projects, and our team has created a site that showcases our work. Moreover, I love Economy and am currently studying it with Physics Thank you for taking the time to read my bio, and I hope to connect with you soon! I'm passionate about

Physics and especially how the world works with the wonders of it. Internal Relationships come to me naturally and I love investigating them more with every MUN I get to know more about the World!!

An idea worth spreading

The idea that I believe is worth sharing is that even in the face of tragedy and loss, life is still meaningful and worth living. Losing someone to suicide is one of the most painful experiences anyone can go through, and it can leave us feeling lost, hopeless, and shattered. However, it is important to remember that even in the darkest moments, life still has purpose and meaning. As someone who has experienced the devastating loss of a dear friend to suicide, I feel compelled to share this message of hope with others. No matter what challenges we face, there is always a reason to keep going, to keep fighting, and to find purpose and meaning in our lives. This idea is worth spreading because it has the power to inspire and encourage those who may be struggling to find hope and to remind them that they are not alone.

The TED story

I first learned about the TEDx event throughout Batory high school that was happening in Warsaw. I had heard about TED talks before, but I didn't know much about them. My friend convinced me to come along, promising that it would be an unforgettable experience. The first speaker took the stage, and I was immediately hooked. Her talk was inspiring and powerful, and I felt like she was speaking directly to me. She shared her personal story of overcoming adversity, and I was moved to tears. Each speaker that followed was just as captivating as the last. They talked about everything from climate change to innovation to mental health, and I couldn't get enough. I was completely immersed in the experience, and I felt like I was part of something truly special. From that moment on, I was hooked on TED talks and I knew I had to organize one for people to get the same experience!!!
