He acquires and edits books for the Crown and Currency lists, with a focus on adventurous narrative nonfiction, current events, popular history, business journalism, and thought leaders in business and technology. Bestsellers published by Whitlatch include Code Girls by Liza Mundy, Billion Dollar Whale by Tom Wright and Bradley Hope, The Precipice by Toby Ord, A Message from Ukraine by Volodymyr Zelensky, and The Cult of We by Eliot Brown and Maureen Farrell.
