At the age of 15, I surprise many people when I tell them what I do. Along with being a full time student, I hold a volunteer position as the Director of Videography for Riverwood Church Community. My team of videographers (all of my team members are above the age of 22) that I am responsible for, manage the task of capturing the services, on film for 1. The services to be uploaded online 2. Our services are live streamed over to our other location in the city This role requires extensive planning, work, effort, but more and most importantly, exceptional leadership skills. As the leader of this team, I am responsible to ensure the quality, effort, and creativity of the services we capture. It is my job to implement efficient, creative, and useful ways to move this team forward, and give all viewers of the services a noticeable sense of excellent talent behind the camera, from my team. Upon being considered for this position, I can honestly say that the senior leadership team, did not doubt my ability to lead this team effectively because of my age. Currently, with this position, I'm am volunteering approximately 20-30 hours per week. In addition to my passion for leadership, and being a difference maker, I also enjoy the wonders of Aviation, Philosophy, Film Production, Public Speaking, and Academics.

Showing the world the hidden leadership capabilities of today's youth, and polishing their ability to motivate and inspire creativity, amongst fellow youth, and adults as well.

Youth are the best leaders in the world. We as a society, haven't realized this yet. But, instead we have been blinded with an illusion that, adults are the only ones who are adequately qualified, and able, to deliver effective leadership. We need to Transform our society into a society that realizes this, and then, Transcend our youth into the great leaders they are, and completely loose the illusion we have been blinded with. It is an absolute mis conception to think that adults are the only ones who are sufficiently qualified and/or able to deliver, motivational, effective, and quite frankly, life changing leadership, when if fact, they're not even the ones who are able to deliver it the best. Youth are. Youth in our world are able to deliver the best leadership and motivation not only to other fellow youth, but adults as well. They spark a newfound motivation and inspiration to all, they need to Thrive as the great leaders they are.

TED is such an amazing movement. In my opinion, its what keeps us moving forward as a society. The basis of "Ideas Worth Spreading" is absolute genius. We, as a combined society need to have new methods, challenges, and ideas to keep moving forward. It's absolutely imperative. See, once a new idea, is shared, it has unstoppable limits to inspire, motivate, and change the world. Thats precisely what TED is. It's a platform for world change. My goal, as a human being, is do something great, that will have a dramatic impact on peoples lives. Specifically with the idea I have shared with you today. TED supports my aspirations to change the world we live in.
