Beth Brewster

Beth is a skilled Systems Analyst at Belmont University with over 20 years of experience in the technology and education field. Her passion for technology began as a Police Dispatcher, where she utilized the LEADS computer system and developed an interest in pursuing a career in the technology field. Beth worked as a Corporate Trainer for Wang Laboratories Inc., where she provided education to clients on various VS, OIS and PC computer systems and software, including Lotus 123, WordPerfect, and Filemaker Pro. She worked as a Consultant for Alcoa in Newburgh, IN where she created training materials and video content for machine operators. In addition to her consulting work, Beth has taught computer classes for New Horizons and various local businesses. She’s served as a Training Director for COMPUSA and Productivity Point International, where she taught Microsoft Certified Courses as a MIcrosoft Certified Trainer and developed customer specific software solutions. From 2001 to 2010, Beth administered and created Computer Proficiency courses for all new and transfer students at Belmont University. She also taught computer courses to staff and faculty. Currently, Beth works as a Systems Analyst for Belmont University where she provides support in Banner, Argos, Dynamic Forms, Jotform, and SQL. Outside of work, Beth enjoys gardening, spending time with her family, reading, event planning, and walking with her dogs.
