The TED story

I had learned about TED Talks on a study abroad to Hong Kong - a fellow student spoke about revolutions in food engineering to save calories, yet also allow indulgence in the taste of sweets and heavy meals. Fascinated with the idea and concept, I inquiried on the source of the information - TED Talks. Years since then I had always been a casual TED Talk fan. My active involvement in the TED(x) community came from my move to Bushwick. I was fascinated with the neighborhood and kept up Bushwick's pulse by actively reading Bushwick Daily, the local media outlet. When I learned TEDxBushwick was coming to the neighborhood, I reached out to the organizers, whom were fellow runners and Californians. The rest is history.
