Bio
Born and raised in Bari, I have always been keen on politics and international relations. As for my academic and professional life, I graduated in Law at the University of Bari in 2013 and right after the graduation I moved to Rome to attend a master in Human Rights and Foreign Policies . In August 2014, I moved to Washington DC, where I have been working as an intern in an NGO specialized in political refugees’ issues. I was working also as a trainee at the Ministry of Foreing Affairs in the office for the relations with UN Bodies. During my time at university, eager to put into practice my passion for human rights, I took part to several volunteering experiences. In 2011, after training in Romania and Peru, I organized and coordinated a group of volunteers going to Trujillo (Peru) for a month-long experience with children from underprivileged families and victim of abuses. Then I became member of the directory board of the Compagnia del Perù (CdP) NPO, where I am still working.
Nowadays I work for the European Space Agency and I am the organizer and licensee of TEDxBari.

The TED story
Once I finished my internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, I tried to stimulate my creativity, so I hosted a TEDx Conference in Bari, my home city, where participated speakers from Italy and other Nations debating the theme of resilience. I tried to help local community to face an actual and multifaceted concept in order to contaminate local experience with other worthy ideas. In this context, I had the opportunity to be the first organizer of the event. Bearing all this in mind, I coordinated a team of twenty people with extremely different skills and duties trying to understand the different needs of people and facing the difficulties of team management.
