Prakhar Bindal is a serial entrepreneur, early stage investor and the CEO of Axsiom, a private open-ended alternative investment vehicle exclusively invested in Internet Domain Names, Web Properties and Early Stage Internet Startups. He has helped Fortune 500 & Fortune 100 clients (like Walt Disney) acquire premium domain names for their new ventures, and, in just over two years, has closed 150+ clients in 30+ countries. Prakhar is a part of the TEDx Global Mentors Panel and is credited with organizing the first ever TEDx event in India. Prior to this, he worked in the Re-Insurance Team in the Financial Research group at D. E. Shaw, where he priced reinsurance contracts for US Insurance Majors. Prakhar served as the Chair of the 7th International Entrepreneurship Summit at IIM Calcutta, and also the Founding Chair of the ACM Chapter at BITS-Pilani. He is fond of number crunching, and was one of the all-India toppers of IIM-CAT 2009. A self-professed geek, Prakhar is a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), a Microsoft Certified Application Specialist (MCAS), and a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS). He served as a Microsoft Student Partner for 3 years and also co-founded the GITCA, INETA and PASS User Groups (UGs) in his region.
