Hi! I am a high school senior at Bridgewater Raritan High School. The TED platform has mesmerized me for years, throughout various TED talks. Now, I am able to host my own event and show my community the hidden gems within it, and hopefully along the way, spread positive ideas and lessons!

The TED story
I started watching Angela Duckworth's TED Talk about her book "Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverance." I found her speech so incredible that I recited it as my declamation speech for my school's Speech and Debate club. Since that day, TED has held a special place in my mind and heart, which is why I decided to host my own TEDx Youth Event for my community. I want to show the younger generation they can feel that same passion and curiosity that I felt when I listened to Angela Duckworth's speech for the first time.
