Bio

Two time Emmy Award winning Executive Producer, Summer Strauch has over 20 years of production experience. As the creative producer behind projects such as The Video Music Awards, YouTube’s Reserve Channel with Pharrell Williams, Joy Bryant and Tom Colichio, and the Emmy Award winning series Made, Summer’s range of experience proves her innovation and versatility. Starting her career as an Executive at MTV, Summer was a hands-on producer for both live studio and reality formats for over 15 years. Her experience led her to produce live multi-camera events such as The Video Music Awards and New Year’s Eve in Times Square while also leading production teams on various reality series including the Emmy Award winning series Made. Recently she has seen success as The Head of Production for Uncommon Content and Executive Producer for Simon Cowell’s Production Company, SyCo Entertainment. Currently, Summer is Directing and Producing a Feature Documentary Out of the Water on the legendary Duke Kahanamoku Surf Team, in addition to Executive Producing A Historic Tribute To Surfing and The Endless Summer at The Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History.
