Caroline Wangui Kariuki

Carol is the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of GreenPot Enterprises Limited, a wholly integrated Bamboo business ranging from large scale nurseries, plantations and will be starting Kenya’s first Bamboo processing plant in 2023. She is passionate about the possibilities that the Restoration Economy brings in the empowerment of communities as the tagline for Greenpot says ‘Creating Wealth one Tree at a time”. Before starting Greenpot, she had an exemplary career in the Housing and Financial Sector. Her contribution to the Housing sector is noteworthy especially as the Managing Director of Savings & Loan, Kenya Commercial Bank’s mortgage subsidiary where she championed the growth of the mortgage sector and home ownership for many Kenyans. She holds an MBA from Warwick Business School, UK and a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Nairobi.
