Amy Sterling runs Eyewire, a game to map the brain that pairs human intelligence with aritifical intelligence. Launched from MIT, Eyewire is played by over a quarter million people from 150 countries. Players solve puzzles that help researchers discover how the brain works. She was named to the 2015 Forbes 30 Under 30, is a World Economic Forum Global Shaoer and has advised both White House OSTP and US Congress on crowdsourcing ans open innovation. Amy is a leading catalyst of neuroscience visualization, from interactive web to virtual reality. Fast Company credits Amy with "making neuroscience into a playground for today's hot tech du jour." Amy founded the TEDx Music Project, a collection of the best live music from TEDx events around the world. When employing her neural networks outside of a professional setting, Amy is the first person to give an autotuned presentation at a TED Conference. She likes a sciences, strong breezes, exploration and curious people.
