The TED story
I first discovered TED while scrolling through Youtube when I was 13 or 14 years old. I have always had a passion for learning, but never only about academics: about people as well. People’s stories and experiences, what they lived through and how they overcame it, how I can relate to them through my own life, how I can use their testament to better myself, etc… which is what drew me to TED.
This is why, when I heard that my university hosted TEDx events, I saw it as a great opportunity. I have since co-organised a successful Salon event, and am weeks away (as of writing in mid March 2023) from my first TEDx event.
