I'm passionate about

Creating meaningful conversations that lead to positive social change. I believe in the power of communication to transform lives, especially in the areas of public health and community development. I’m passionate about equipping young minds with the tools to question, explore, and tell stories that matter. Whether it is through research, teaching, or outreach, my goal is to make media a force for empathy, equity, and empowerment.

An idea worth spreading

Communication is not just the messenger of change; it is the catalyst. In a world overwhelmed by information, what we need is intentional communication that bridges knowledge and action. By humanising health messages and weaving stories of real lives, we can transform public awareness into collective responsibility. Let us reimagine media not as a tool of influence but as a partner in development and healing.

The TED story

As an educator and researcher, I have spent years exploring how communication shapes the way we think, feel, and act, especially when it comes to health and social development. Along this journey, I have met people whose stories never make headlines but whose lives hold powerful lessons. TED, to me, is a space where such stories find their voice. It is where knowledge meets empathy and where ideas become movements. My TED story is rooted in the belief that communication, when done right, does not just inform. It heals, empowers, and unites. I am here to share how we can use the media not just to broadcast, but to truly connect and create change.

Things you might not know

Listening deeply. In a world that often rewards speaking louder, I’ve found strength in being the quiet observer who catches what others miss. Whether it's in a classroom, a research interview, or a casual conversation, I’ve learned that real insight often comes from what is not said. This skill has helped me connect better with people, understand their realities, and shape communication strategies that truly resonate.
