The TED story
My journey with TED began in 2019, when as a university freshman, I attended TEDxNTUA 2019 ‘Enigma’. The energy and teamwork of the student organizers left me in awe, igniting a passion within me. Soon after, I eagerly applied to volunteer at TEDxAthens 2019, where I immersed myself in TED's spirit and connected with inspiring individuals. Since then, I've remained a devoted TEDxAthens attendee and volunteer, proudly participating in their events and even assuming the role of a team leader last year. These experiences not only deepened my appreciation for TED's mission but also inspired me to contribute to my university's TEDx event, TEDxNTUA. Joining TEDxNTUA's team for the 2021 event, ‘Ubuntu’, marked the beginning of my active involveme, and I quickly advanced into the Media & Marketing Team for the 2022 ‘Play’ event. Eventually, I assumed the role of the Curator & Licensee for TEDxNTUA 2023 ‘Mneme’, a project that holds a special place in my heart. Now, overseeing TEDxNTUA's 2024 event, I reflect on the remarkable journey that has led me here. Along the way, I've had the privilege of attending numerous local TEDx events, each leaving its mark on me. Proudly, I stand as a member of this vibrant community, inspired by the power of ideas and the connections fostered through TED.
