About Kayte

I am a…

Change Agent, Connector, Idea generator

Bio

I make things happen. I believe that if you want to see something happen, you need to make it happen. I have been instrumental in tackling the problem of empty shops in my hometown of Bedford though my work on www.wearebedford.co.uk. I have been self employed since the birth of my first child in 2007 and have had the honour of working on a range of interesting projects such as a creative agent for Creative Partnerships, home education researcher for Learning Futures, producer for Bedford Creative Arts, consultant on the Empty Shops Strategy for Bedford Borough Council. I am a guidance worker and trainer by trade but have always worked between the worlds of education, creativity, business and community. I am hold an MSc Innovation and Creativity from the University of Bedfordshire. I like to play and pilot and prototype. I am a connector by nature, and a collector of interesting people. I love putting people together and making things happen.
