I direct the Center for Maternal and Infant Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In that role I supervise a clinical team that cares for high-risk moms and babies, conduct research, coordinate programs at the local, state, regional and national level, manage 4 websites, double as a development director and serve as an advocacy voice for mothers and babies on the Governor's Child Fatality Task Force.
