Sam Aaron has worked on marketing, strategy and sales teams of top lifestyle and retail leaders like Columbia Sportswear, SOREL, Nike, Red Bull, Coca Cola, Oakley, Dick's Sporting Goods and Galyan's Trading Co. He currently serves on the organizing team for TEDx Portland, as a mentor for TEDxYouth and on the Board of Directors for the Portland-­‐Kota Kinabalu Sister City Association. Affectionately describing what he does as "writing love stories for a living," his work can be found within books, magazines, blogs and more brands than one can count on two hands. Growing up during the transition to widely based social media usage, his perspective was shaped by a broad spectrum of experiences. While we live in an age where computers in the palms of our hands send information around the planet in real-­‐time, an inextricable characteristic of being human is that we still love to share stories with our family, friends, colleagues and business partners. A scholar of brand amplification and a lover of all things sport, Sam Aaron sees that sports and products inspire each other to innovate techniques and technologies that encourage athletes to push past what they once thought possible. This reciprocal relationship of inspiration and innovation summarizes the foundation of Sam Aaron's approach to business, because authenticity is measured by heart, and regardless of a company's size, volume, or visibility, this factor cannot be faked.
