I have been associated with Beaconhouse Garden Town for the past six years as a Social Studies Teacher. I have done my BSc Hons in Economics and Management from UCL (University of London External program). I have worked at CARE Foundation for six years, where I was given the opportunity to work closely with US Consulate for the betterment of under privileged children. At the moment I am working as the General secertary school council, Subject coordinator & school event organiser at Beaconhouse Garden Town Campus.

I am passionate about giving students a wider experience of the world around them. I want my students to experience the world and reflect upon in a positive manner and build their own representations and incorporate new information into their pre-existing knowledge. I think if we work together hand in hand we as individuals can change our consumption habits to move rapidly to a low carbon world.

Our school Beaconhouse Garden Town Campus, Middle School Lahore is working on Learner Agency Projects since the last 5 months on the topic 'Climate Change'. The rationale for this project is as follows: "to create opportunities for students to collaborate and interact with peers in order to create awareness regarding climate change and its impacts. Furthermore, enabling the students to take wide ranging actions at community level to reduce carbon foot print." We have qualified different stages and after securing first position among Cluster V of Beaconhouse School System, our school has been shortlisted in the top five schools of Centre Region Beaconhouse School System. This TED x event will add to the final phase of this LAP Project which will be held in February, 23. We plan to hold Ted X event in school to create awareness among our students so that they can become responsible citizens and play a significant role in bulding a responsible and environment friendly world.
