Bio
Gideon is the CEO of Write Label, an on-demand marketplace for crowdsourced short form writing. He is also the President of The Moriah Fund, a private foundation. Prior to Write Label, Gideon was the founder and CEO of LightSail Education, the leading literacy accelerator for K-12, before it's sale in 2018. In addition, Gideon serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations including New Classrooms, Narrative 4, Chalkbeat, and the unionized charter school University Prep Charter High School (formerly Green Dot New York). Prior to LightSail, Gideon co-founded and served as President of Future Is Now Schools, and he was Founder, Chairman, and CEO of the enterprise messaging company Omnipod, Inc. (which he successfully sold to MessageLabs and then to Symantec). Gideon has a BA from Wesleyan University.
