Bio
Brittany Whitmore is an award-winning entrepreneur with a passion for innovation and over a decade of experience in the technology sector and startup ecosystem.
She is CEO of Exvera Communications, a PR firm focused on generating earned media coverage for disruptive innovation, where she firmly believes in the power of storytelling to move the world forward. She also works closely with a family office as chief marketing strategist, focused on go-public transactions and publicly traded companies.
Previously, Brittany served as an early-stage executive for Procurify, a fast-growing, SaaS startup backed by Silicon Valley venture capital. She was also a member of the founding team for iComply Investor Services, a compliance platform for decentralized finance, and has held multiple advisory roles.
Brittany created the first TEDxWomen conference in Vancouver and is an active member of prestigious communities such as TED and Sandbox.
Brittany was named one of BC Business Magazine's Top 30 Under 30 and one of Langara College's Outstanding Alumni. The startups she has worked on have been recognized by the BC Innovation Council, the Deloitte Fast 50, the BC Technology Industry Association, and the Canadian Innovation Exchange.
Brittany is frequently invited to speak on marketing, technology, and entrepreneurship at conferences internationally, as well as at prominent universities. She has also formerly served as a resident technology expert on a live weekly radio show.
