Brigitte is Global Managing Director, Digital at Tes. Brigitte joined Tes in July 2015 to launch and scale up two new ventures - a teacher2teacher marketplace and a training business under the Tes Institute brand - as well as transform Tes into a digital customer centric Education Technology company. Under Brigitte’s leadership, both businesses drive significant value creation, and the marketplace has triple digit growth and has delivered its Billionth download in May 17 and reached a community of 9 Million members. Brigitte was a senior executive at eBay between 2011 and 2015, where she successfully launched and scaled StubHub internationally. As international CEO, she built the StubHub rapid expansion playbook and organisation, led StubHub entry in London, Germany and Canada, and developed key partnerships to accelerate brand awareness and market share. Brigitte was with Dow Jones for 5 years between 2006 and 2011, based in New York, most recently as the Vice president and Managing Director of the Dow Jones Enterprise Solutions Group. At Dow Jones, Brigitte was driving the global development and success of the award winning Factiva Web & Mobile platform and global business across 20 markets, with a global portfolio of over 6000 large customers including 80% of Fortune 500 companies. Prior to Dow-Jones, Brigitte has held senior-level positions in Europe, in Internet & Cloud Services start up Prosodie as VP of Marketing and Mobile & eCommerce GM, as well as Netcom, where she lead the UK market consulting practice, and in Vivendi group as head of Operations for SFR. Brigitte has contributed to several Boards, and is currently a Trustee of Eastside Education Trust, as well as a Digital Board Advisor for Azulis Capital.

After watching so many TED talks alone and with my family, following great speakers, meeting Pat Mitchell in London to discuss TED large community of women teachers, and starting my ellpha project on using AI to accelerate gender parity and fight bias (www.ellpha.com), this just felt like the place I needed and wanted to be!
