Dr.N.Padmavathy is the Dean – School of Arts, Humanities and Management, Jeppiaar University, Chennai, TamilNadu, India. Headed MBA Department, Jeppiaar Engineering College, Chennai, TamilNadu. Recipient of Best Teacher Award for her excellence in teaching. Received a research grant from Indian Council for Social Science and Research- IMPRESS, New Delhi, for executing a Research Project entitled “A Study On The Role Of Drivers Behaviour In Road Traffic Accident With Special Reference To Urban Chennai” in 2019. Received a research grant from National Commission for Women, New Delhi for executing a research titled ”A comparative study on mental health and resilience strategies of housewives and working women in TamilNadu” in 2018. Coordinator for National Level Seminar on “Smart Cities-The Way Ahead for Inclusive Economic Growth’ sponsored by ICCSR, New Delhi in 2015. Organised National Seminar on "Establishing Safe Shelter homes: Strategies to reduce crimes against Women" from National Commission for Women, New Delhi, received in 2019. Received a grant from ICSSR-IMPRESS, New Delhi to organise on National seminar: “Financial Inclusion: Key to Achieve Universal Inclusive Economic Growth of India" in 2019. Published several articles approximately in peer reviewed National and International Journals, Conferences, Seminars and Chapter Books. Recipient of Best Faculty Award and she has received appreciation merit certificate from Rotary Club of Madras. Awarded certificate for the outstanding contribution during various community services in District Rotaract/ Rotary Club of Madras activities. Organised Guinness World Record on “Drug Awareness” in collaboration with Rotary Club of Madras. Chairperson of Board of Studies in School of Arts, Humanities and Management, Jeppiaar University,Chennai. Member of Executive Committee in Jeppiaar University, Chennai. Sub-Committee member in Education Sector in Confederation of Indian Industry, Chennai. Nodal officer for Yuva Chapter in Jeppiaar University associated with YI Chennai Chapter for AY 2022-2023. Certified ISO Auditor. President for Institution Innovation Council, Jeppiaar Engineering College, Chennai. Member in Madras Management Association. Invited as a resource person in NCBA Conference on “Business Analysis” organised by Fhyzics Business Consultants, Chennai in 2018. She was invited as a resource person in PDMA-INDIA NPD Conference organised by Fhyzics Business Consultants, at IIT Madras, Chennai. She has participated and delivered lectures in various academic sessions.

Various projects were I was in a leadership role in World Guinness Record in Organising Drug Awareness Session, Rally against Terrorism, organised Walkathons to save water, acted as Mentor in Innovation process etc.
