A veteran in the event marketing industry Lisa VanRosendale has nearly 30 years of experience creating and producing globally integrated face-to-face marketing programs and events for Fortune 1000 companies. Lisa is currently the Senior Vice President of FreemanXP, an innovative experiential marketing agency that brings brands to life. Lisa has been able to drive strategic, measurable and award-winning projects in her career and was just recently recognized by M&C Magazine as one of the Top 25 most influential women in meetings and events. Lisa has leveraged her natural problem-solving skills and her expertise of the industry to help her clients develop successful go to market activation's aligned to their corporate objectives. She has produced events in over 30 countries and works in a variety of industries.

I think we could have a very positive impact on the world if we got rid of change (coins). A few of the financial institutes are now adding the change into your account versus distributing the coins and I think if we offered "donate" change to organizations like they do at Whole Foods then this could also help the organizations who need extra support. Seriously...isn't it time for "change"!

I was born the 9th of 10 kids and both my parents came from poverty. I was born into chaos and so I thrive in this environment. I was a young mother and living on government assistance, I dropped out of high school to help support my family. My husband forced me to get a job as a receptionist over 20+ years ago and I started to work my way through the event marketing industry. I became the first female officer with GPJ before I was 30 years old and I helped other women in the company break through an 80 year old company tradition. I love my job and have always followed my heart. I am passionate about my customers and don't know how to give any less than 200%. I believe you can lead and/or follow and the best ingredient for teamwork is making sure you know where you need to be in order to get the job done. I have always wanted to attend TED and attending is just another lovely chapter in my book of aspirations.

Millisecond problem solving. In my profession, I really have seen a lot and everyone knows the show must go on. I love sharing those wonderful stories over a nice campfire.
