Bio

Paul has had an extensive career in communications and engagement, whilst producing and managing large scale events and festivals, facilitating workshops and events for community and corporate organisations. Paul has held CEO roles, run his own businesses, created community initiatives and led community not for profit organisations. Currently Director of the Goldfields Gothic Festival, Paul has lectured in management and leadership at Swinburne University, is a published author, as well as a screenwriter and playwright co-writing the signature musical for the 2011 Queensland Music Festival (commissioned by Deborah Conway): DragQueensLand. Paul currently runs the award winning social enterprise: Together is Better, a collaborative model for community driven projects; and is a Guide for the internationally renowned ABCD, asset based community development learning sites program. Paul has been an in-house writer for Channel Seven and Home and Away, as well as for Hollywood production companies. Paul is an expert facilitator and has had vast experience working with and supporting not for profits, companies and enterprises to develop their business plans, organisational culture, professional development programs and strategies for growth.
