Ali Arshad is an academic, educator and a trans-disciplinary artist based in Lahore, who uses text, research data, earthworks and new media in his practice to render a distinct point of view concerning the role of gender, spirituality and other socio-cultural disparities in contemporary art. Arshad’s work has been featured by various national and international organizations such as the Lahore Museum (2023), Lahore Digital Arts Festival (2023), the wrong biennale (2022), Humble Arts Foundation (2019), A1 Bazaar (2018) and Alter Work Studios in New York (2021), Rise Collective Hanoi in Vietnam (2021), T6 in Canada (2021) and Bad Video Art Festival in Russia (2019).
