I am an educational leader with almost three decades of experience in teaching and administration, passionately committed to fostering excellence, innovation, and inclusivity in education. My journey—from teacher to Vice Principal to Principal—has equipped me with a deep understanding of the educational system at multiple levels. I currently serve as the President of the Samanvay Sahodaya Complex, Treasurer of the NPSC and Secretary of FPS working committees, contributing actively to collaborative educational leadership. As Principal of ASN Senior Secondary School, I have worked tirelessly to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. I’ve led the integration of technology-driven learning tools, project-based learning, STEAM and sports education, entrepreneurship, and global citizenship into our curriculum. Our annual Kaushal Mahotsav stands as a testament to my commitment to skill-building, offering students hands-on training through year-round workshops. Under my leadership, our school earned the distinction of being the First Sustainable Development Goals Lab of India, recognizing our integration of UNSDGs into the curriculum since 2015. I’ve also implemented a robust mentorship program for students and teachers, nurturing a culture of continuous learning and collaboration. I’ve had the privilege of working with esteemed organizations such as UNIC, UNESCO, KCC, NFCH, CBSE, NCERT, and various education departments and partner schools to promote quality education with a focus on sustainability, global awareness, and intercultural understanding. Community service is central to my philosophy. I’ve led initiatives including health and hygiene drives, medical camps, literacy classes, art workshops, and Atal Tinkering Lab sessions for underprivileged communities. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I initiated a free mask distribution drive for children in our adopted village, Yamuna Khadhar, facilitated the distribution of 850 PPE kits to hospitals, and organized an open kitchen and essential item distribution. In 2022, I launched a Skill Hub under PMKVY to promote industry-based skill training among youth. As a Climate Reality Leader, I’ve championed environmental education and sustainable practices. Our school received First Position PAN India in GRIHA’s Exemplary Performance Award and the Indian Green Building Council Award for Green Schools. I spearheaded the Stitching the Circle: Circularity in Textile campaign with CEE and ABFRL, educating students on circular economy principles. I’ve also partnered with organizations like FEE, CEE, MoEF & CC, TERI, WWF, Earth Watch, and local communities to advance sustainability. I take pride in promoting national integration through programs with NFCH, IQF, and initiatives like Virasat and Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat. These include cultural exchanges, exhibitions, and multilingual appreciation activities that celebrate India’s rich heritage. My leadership style is collaborative and inclusive. I involve teachers, students, parents, and the community in decision-making, fostering a culture of teamwork, mutual respect, and continuous improvement. My efforts have been honored with several prestigious awards: CBSE Teacher’s Award, State Teacher’s Award, British Council’s International School Award, Scholard Leadership Award (London), and the Rex Karmaveer Global Education Change Champions Fellow and Award.
