Bio
I'm an Engineering (Undergraduate) student studying in the department of Chemical Engineering in Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune (MH), India. In addition to being technically sound, I have good managerial skills. My consistent performance in academics and equally zealous participation in extra-curricular activities help test my time management skills and push me to try to be an all-rounder. I have worked as a Research Fellow in the Indian Institute of Technology (I.I.Sc), Bangalore, from June, 2014 to July, 2014, as a part of the Summer Research Fellowship Program jointly organized by the three National Science Academies of India.
I have worked as the Director of Editorials and Content for TEDxVITPune.
I'm passionate about
Everything I do. It doesn't matter if it's a hobby or a compulsory task or a taxing job; when I work for something, I put my heart into it. I believe that perfection commands passion.
An idea worth spreading
Make new mistakes! Mistakes are an integral and intrinsic part of humans. If everything we did was perfect, the world would be a boring place to live in. Many inventions wouldn't come into existence. Development would be hindered in ways we can't imagine. Also, the more you work, the more mistakes you make. Value mistakes and make loads of them. Repetition of mistakes, though, should not take place; it's unproductive and leads to unnecessary languishing. So, keep making new mistakes - because everything teaches you something.

The TED story
I was a part of TEDxVITPune (11th April, 2015) organizing team. The Organizer of the event handpicked me for the task of writing editorials and content for the magazine and our event brochure. But in the end, because he had to leave the country for some time, I acted on his behalf. I got into Sponsorship, and Speaker Communication, and Event Execution, and a lot of other roles.
TEDxVITPune was an amazing experience. Being an active participant as well as event organizer in our institute, I can vouch for this event to be the best one in the college! It wasn't an awesome day just for our attendees and speakers (whom we treated as 'rockstars' as suggested in the TEDx Manual), but even for us. The team will always cherish the time we had!
Moreover, since it was our very first edition - of many to come, I hope - it is closest to my heart!
Things you might not know
Cooking. I don't come off as someone who would take the time to cook and I rarely do cook, but when I do it, the delicacy turns out to be pleasing to the eyes, nose and tongue!
