About Nathalie
Bio
I was born in Fulda, Germany in 1989. When I finished school I started to study Life Science Engineering at the Friedrich-Alexander-University in Erlangen. At the end of my career I wanted to know more about the world and make me an idea about how is working in industry. So I went for an internship to Barcelona, Spain, and opened my mind for different cultures and languages. After a second internship in Novartis, Germany, I continued my career at the technical university in Hamburg with the international master degree Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering. During this master degree the university offered me the opportunity to do an exchange at the University of Antioquia in Colombia. I started to love the culture and especially the beauty and richness of the countries nature. Different amazing coincidences let to my current project the investigation of a traditional medicinal plant.
I'm passionate about
The thing I am most passionate about is NATURE, this amazing complex what hosts us, provides us clean air, food, health, happiness and much more. ‘Nature is life and life is nature!’
An idea worth spreading
In my opinion the world where we are living is so awesome. It is so amazing complex and perfect at the same time that even we, human beings, can’t understand many of its processes. But actually, in my point of view, it isn´t always necessary that we do so, because we are integrated in the world and are part of the processes. So if we do respect we can live all in harmony together. So the idea worth spreading to me is that we use our intelligence and capabilities to make us a comfortable life in between nature without harming our environment and follow the objectives which are most important to us: to have food, something to drink, and love.
