I'm an optimist who believes that emerging technologies and good humans can spark widespread positive impact. I've spent most of my career working in public and private centers of innovation to bridge science, health and environmental security. I'm currently part of the founding team at ARPA-H, America's newest science agency that's funding breakthrough biomedical and health innovation that traditional methods just can't tackle. I love to ski, swim, cycle, and roller skate (my former derby name is Thumper).
