Bio
Icelandic entrepreneur and former presidential candidate Halla Tomasdottir advocates for purpose-driven and principled leadership as the CEO of The B Team.
She cofounded Icelandic investment firm, Audur Capital where she and her team set out to infuse the world of finance with more “feminine values.” The company survived Iceland’s infamous financial meltdown in 2008 in tact and Tómasdóttir has since been instrumental in leading the charge to a better way of doing business and finance.
In 2016, responding to popular demand (and a viral Facebook campaign), she ran for president of Iceland, placing second with nearly one-third of the vote.
