Steve Campbell is Chairman of the Citi Private Capital Group. He advises entrepreneurs and affluent families around the world on family office, investment, and family governance and leadership matters. Steve has published widely on these topics and authored The Challenges and Opportunities of Family Leadership (2019). Most recently he published 'When Hope is Not a Strategy, Preparing Children for Significant Wealth'. He was previously Chief Investment Officer for a Seattle-based family office where he managed a diverse portfolio, and was Managing Director of its venture fund. Steve was founder and CEO of two successful early stage fin tech companies. He spent his early career in senior executive roles managing both technology development and investment research for Fidelity Investments in the U.S., Europe and Asia. Steve resides in Seattle and Camano Island Washington with his wife, Mona Kristoferson Campbell.
