An idea worth spreading
• Our education “system” and lifestyle in Connecticut, incorporating formal education, importance of tests and grades, culture, wealth, peer pressure, social media, and discomfort with risk, is “programmed” to reduce innovative thinking and entrepreneurship
• There is no “curriculum” to learning nor teaching innovation.
The Importance:
• Innovation is important because it drives progress, solves complex problems, and creates new opportunities. Innovation enables us to find better, faster, and more effective solutions to challenges.
• It is important to inspire us to question existing ideas, explore new possibilities, develop critical thinking skills and push the boundaries of what’s possible.
• Innovation thrives on curiosity and creativity
