Bio
Risk taker, change agent, nonprofit leader, Denise believes that done is better than perfect and success is best defined by one’s self. With over a quarter century of experience she has run businesses, including her own, nonprofits, including her own, and worked with and consulted to all types of entities including, Chambers of Commerce, regional entities such as Caltrain, statewide organizations such as Virginia Network of Nonprofit Organizations to companies such as Campbell’s Soup and General Mills.
Denise’s practical experience is augmented by her formal education. She has a Master’s Degree and has utilized her education and experience working in Illinois, Ohio, Iowa, California, Florida and Virginia. She has also created university curriculum and been an adjunct professor in both International Business and Leadership university classes. She has taken classes everywhere from the University of Toledo to MIT. Denise currently is spending her time building a nonprofit, Re-Aligned, that focuses on women, confidence and creating impactful women lead spheres of influence and community betterment, and training for her next half marathon.
