Bio
I'm a serial entrepreneur, advisor to remarkable entrepreneurs, and investor who likes to make the future less scary. I spend my time on complex and interesting problems in the worlds of entrepreneurship, family businesses, and technology.
The people that know me best say that I ask great questions. There is tremendous strength in asking questions, and I believe we jump to solutions prematurely. We need to understand how complexity and system issues lead to the results we are frustrated by.
No problem is too scary for me. I thrive in chaotic environments including startups, business turnarounds, and extreme family dysfunction. Specifically, I enjoy dealing with issues around disruption, change, conflict, and innovation.
Basically, I equip entrepreneurs and organizations with the tools needed to better navigate uncertainty. My work centers at the intersection of business and psychology.
The world is full of surprises and inspiration. I believe the world is meant to be explored. I've traveled to 44 countries including living in Greece, Haiti, Guatemala, Hong Kong, and the Philippines. I proudly call Oklahoma City home.
I'm passionate about
Seeing people thrive. We spend countless amount of energy trying to meet the expectations and desires of other, but this often leads to frustrating feelings.
Some people do not live in a place where they can thrive due to a variety of circumstances. I want to eliminate the constraints that prevent people from thriving.

The TED story
I enjoyed watching TED videos in college. I devoured Talks and loved the provoking thoughts it forced me to have. It challenged the way I thought and made me look at things through a different lens.
I attended my first TEDx event in 2011 in Oklahoma City. It was great being part of an event and seeing the energy that developed.
I helped organize TEDxOklahomaCity in 2019 which was the first year it had existed since 2011.
