Bio
I love the talk from Emilie Wapnick "Why some of us don't have one true calling" and being a multi-potentialite is a great description for me.
I have a degree in elementary and special education but my time teaching in the classroom is limited to two years. I received my BA from La Salle University and present a strong background in Human Resources Management experience with both Fortune 500 companies as well as small business environments. Additionally, I have over a decade of experience working as a volunteer in organizing and educating the community on both Sudden Cardiac Arrest in our youth and environmental awareness. My work in mobilizing grassroots organizations helped spearhead the campaign to enact “Aidan’s Law” that enabled all schools throughout PA to have access to Automatic External Defibrillators. I am also a certified Yoga teacher and children's yoga teacher too!
I'm passionate about
My family, all children, and giving back to my community both locally and globally
Areas of expertise

The TED story
My TED story starts with my neighbors Deb Broderick and Kelly Stoeztel who asked my daughter Eloise to continue the TEDxYouth@PickeringValley that their daughters, Hope and Sarah started in 2013 at our elementary school. I had the honor of being mentored by the two of these excellent organizers and in 2015 continued the legacy. Through helping organizing that event, I decided to continue holding the torch and not only helped run the TED-Ed club at the 6th grade center, but also put on my first 3 hour long interactive event for TEDxYouth International day and we had a chance for Eloise, Hope and Izzy to not only host but also organize this event for over 1000 of her peers. Several of our TED-ED students gave talks as well. It was such an amazing experience to see them be confident and committed! We continue to activate our kids and expose students, administrators, parents and teachers to the wonderful world of TEDx Events. I LOVE organizing TEDxYouth events with my kids and we have successfully organized, co-organized and hosted 5 events to-date with many more on the horizon.
