I am a programmer and a tech geek. I casually play badminton and chess. I am always hungry for knowledge and constantly consume several articles on innovation, technology, entrepreneurship, productivity, personality development and design. I like to believe that my work really defines what I really care about in life, which is why I am selective in what I do, and strive hard in whatever I choose to take up.

Gender disparity not only stems from discrimination and marginalisation but also from the inherent mindsets of women. In my college, there are a lot of student communities where guys are the dominant lot, by a large number. Despite guys being accommodative of the girls, there seems to be a major inherent inferiority complex that they aren't good enough even in the few girls that are part of the community. One of the reasons why this is the case is the lack of girl role models amongst them which boys have. A solution to this is to build a community of self empowering / self encouraging women.
