Tirthankar Nag has a doctorate in business management from IIM Ahmedabad and currently holds the position of Professor and Dean (Research and International Relations) at IMI Kolkata. He is involved in teaching at the masters and doctoral level. As an academician and researcher he has authored several notable books and papers in international journals, some in collaboration with Stanford University. He has received several awards and recognitions for his academic work like Chaudhary Padmanabhan Pant Award, Sahir Memorial Award and others and holds a certificate from the World Bank Institute. He offers courses on business strategy, design thinking for innovation, managing consulting engagements and others. He is also the editor of Journal of Operations and Strategic Planning published by SAGE Publications. Tirthankar has advised the top management of various organizations on behalf of global consulting firms and worked on projects of several ministries. With over twenty years of experience across management consulting, investment banking, utilities, teaching and research, Tirthankar encourages and inspires young leaders and innovators to achieve their true potential.
