Mwale Henry is the bestselling author of The Power of Identity: 7 Steps to Overtake and Dominate and the cofounder of a global community of professionals called Created for More. For more than 15 years, he has fueled his passion for making a difference by committing himself to initiatives that span from Trinidad and Tobago to the United States of America and beyond; consulting with global brands like Keap (formerly Infusionsoft) Walmart, Puma, Bath & Body Works; to personal development coaches like Lisa Nichols, Cindy Trimm, Vishen Lakhiani of MindValley. Mwale is passionate about helping experts leverage their knowledge to increase sales while expanding their business by creating products, courses and consulting services that create massive impact and lasting influence. With over a decade of experience in sales and leadership he guides professionals on how to masterfully package their expertise to become world renown thought leaders as featured in AP News and Business Insider. Mwale served in distinctive leadership roles as Personal Assistant to the late Prime Minister Patrick Manning, Executive Assistant to Chief Personnel Officer Stephanine Lewis and was the youngest consultant with the Franklin Covey Institute. With the constant pursuit of excellence in mind, he has studied at leading universities including University of Calgary in Canada and The University of the West Indies. In 2020, Mwale received the “IKON of the Year Award” by KEAP for growing his business by 300% during a global pandemic. He leads a church based non-profit organization (KODI) which currently manages a homework center inspiring the academic and professional pursuits of young people in his community in business, food security and is a leader in agripreneur. “I believe that everyone is designed to create something unique on the earth. My TED story began with a passion for youth entrepreneurship and the vast potential of agro-economies. Having volunteered at two TEDx events, my journey has been nothing short of transformative. Initially, I stepped into the world of TEDx as a curious volunteer, eager to contribute to a platform that celebrates ideas worth spreading. Little did I know, this experience would become a cornerstone of my personal and professional growth. At my first TEDx event, I was just another volunteer, ready to do whatever was needed to ensure the event's success. I was inspired by the speakers, their ideas, and the impact these ideas had on the audience. It was a window into the power of shared knowledge and collective enthusiasm for change and innovation. This experience ignited a spark in me, a desire to do more, to be more involved. By the time the second TEDx event came around, I had taken on the responsibility of leading the volunteer team. It was a role that challenged me and pushed me out of my comfort zone. Leading a team of passionate individuals, all working towards the seamless execution of an event that champions the sharing of groundbreaking ideas, was an exhilarating challenge. It was in this leadership role that I truly understood the essence of TEDx - it's about bringing people together to share in the joy of discovery and the power of ideas to change the world. My experiences volunteering and leading at TEDx events have been deeply enriching. They have not only nurtured my interest in youth entrepreneurship and the development of sustainable agro-economies but have also equipped me with invaluable skills in leadership, teamwork, and communication. These experiences have shaped my view of the world, driving home the importance of innovation, persistence, and the shared human endeavor to create a better future. As I look back on my TED story, I see a journey of growth, learning, and inspiration. It's a story that reflects my commitment to contributing to meaningful change, whether through supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs or advocating for sustainable practices in agriculture. My TED story is still being written, but it's one I'm proud to share, hoping it might inspire others to take the leap, volunteer, lead, and be part of this extraordinary community of change-makers.
