Bio

Born and raised in the enchanting town of Sheikhupura, my journey through life has been an extraordinary adventure. From an early age, I was faced with unique challenges, as my father, a source of inspiration despite his blindness, taught me the invaluable lessons of resilience and determination. Growing up in such circumstances shaped my character and instilled in me a deep sense of empathy and compassion toward others. Driven by a burning desire to make a significant impact in my community, I embarked on a path of education and personal growth. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (B.A. - LL.B.) degree at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), I have dedicated myself to gaining knowledge and skills that will enable me to bring about positive change. In addition to my law studies, I have pursued minors in Education and Public Policy and Management, recognizing the vital role these fields play in shaping a better future for my area and beyond. By combining legal expertise with a deep understanding of educational systems and public policy, I aspire to tackle pressing issues faced by my country and address the needs of marginalized communities. Beyond my academic pursuits, I am passionate about exploring innovative solutions to societal challenges. I have a keen interest in data visualization and storytelling, recognizing the power of effectively communicating complex ideas and information to inspire action. By harnessing innovative problem-solving techniques, I strive to identify creative approaches to address pressing issues and drive social impact. Fluent in English, Urdu, and Punjabi, I have developed cross-cultural competence, enabling me to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and engage in meaningful dialogue. This skill is vital in navigating the complexities of our globalized world and fostering collaboration and understanding. While my academic and professional endeavors are undoubtedly important to me, I also value personal growth and self-expression. In my leisure time, I find solace in physical fitness, indulging in the exhilarating sport of rugby. It not only strengthens my body but also cultivates teamwork, resilience, and discipline. Furthermore, my love for reading fuels my intellectual curiosity and exposes me to diverse perspectives, broadening my horizons and challenging my preconceived notions. As an avid reader, I delve into various genres, from literature to philosophy, continuously expanding my knowledge and nurturing my passion for lifelong learning. Another area that fascinates me is the evolving economic landsacpe. I am intrigued by the potential impact of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology on finance, economics, and society at large. Additionally, I am an ardent advocate for the power of effective communication. Writing articles allows me to articulate my thoughts, share insights, and contribute to public discourse on topics close to my heart. I also find joy in exploring the captivating world of radio, utilizing this medium to engage listeners and share stories that inspire, inform, and entertain. In conclusion, my journey as a law student with a passion for policymaking and exploration of ideas has been marked by a commitment to personal growth, social impact, and intellectual curiosity. By immersing myself in the study of law, education, and public policy, I seek to create a positive change, address societal challenges, and contribute to a more just and equitable world. With a multidimensional perspective and a thirst for knowledge, I eagerly embrace new ideas, innovative solutions, and opportunities for personal and professional development. The motto of my life can be summed up in the following words "Light your own candle rather than cursing the darkness because when a thousand candles will be lit, darkness will end."

I'm passionate about

Passion is the driving force behind every individual's pursuit of excellence and their commitment to making a meaningful impact on the world. For me, passion permeates every aspect of my life, shaping my choices, driving my actions, and fueling my determination to create positive change. One of my deepest passions lies in the realm of social justice and human rights. From an early age, I witnessed the injustices prevalent in my small town of Sheikhupura, and my own personal experiences fueled a burning desire to advocate for those who are marginalized and oppressed. This passion led me to pursue a degree in law, where I have delved into the intricacies of the legal system and the ways in which it can be utilized as a tool for social change. I am particularly drawn to human rights law, as it allows me to fight for the rights and dignity of individuals who have been denied a voice. Education is another domain that ignites my passion. I firmly believe in its transformative power to break cycles of poverty and inequality. Through my studies and my minor in Education, I have explored innovative approaches to education and the policies that can support equitable access to quality learning opportunities. I am passionate about advocating for inclusive and student-centered education systems that empower individuals to reach their full potential. I am driven by the belief that education is not only a fundamental right but also a catalyst for social and economic development. Closely tied to my passion for education is my interest in public policy and management. I am fascinated by the mechanisms through which policies are formulated and implemented, and the ways in which they can shape societies. I am particularly drawn to policies that address environmental issues and promote sustainable development. Through my work experiences and internships, I have had the opportunity to evaluate climate policies and contribute to the development of recommendations for cross-border cooperation. I am deeply passionate about advocating for evidence-based policies that prioritize environmental preservation and ensure a sustainable future for generations to come. My passion for social justice, education, and public policy is complemented by my strong belief in the power of effective communication and storytelling. I am driven to raise awareness, inspire action, and foster empathy through my writing. Whether it's through articles, speeches, or engaging in public discourse, I strive to amplify the voices of those who have been silenced, shed light on pressing issues, and advocate for positive change All in all, my passions are deeply rooted in social justice, education, public policy, and effective communication. I am driven by a desire to make a tangible difference in the lives of others, advocating for the rights and well-being of marginalized communities, and promoting inclusive education and sustainable development. With an unwavering commitment to personal growth, lifelong learning, and challenging the status quo, I am determined to leave a positive impact on society and contribute to a more just, equitable, and sustainable world.

An idea worth spreading

"Light your own candle rather than cursing the darkness because when a thousand candles are lit, darkness will end." In a world often overshadowed by challenges, both literal and metaphorical, this profound phrase offers a compelling perspective on the power of individual agency and collective action. It encapsulates a fundamental truth: that rather than dwelling on the negative aspects of our surroundings, we have the capacity to initiate change and illuminate the path ahead. At its core, this idea urges us to take responsibility for our own lives and circumstances. Instead of bemoaning the darkness that surrounds us, we are encouraged to light our own candle—a symbolic representation of self-empowerment and proactive engagement. By choosing to take action, we become catalysts for positive transformation. When we light our candle, we become beacons of hope, radiating positivity and inspiring others to do the same. As more individuals kindle their own flames, the darkness slowly recedes. It is through our collective efforts that we can create a world filled with light, warmth, and progress. We need to acknowledge the power of unity and collaboration. When a thousand candles are lit, the combined glow becomes a force that dispels darkness. Each individual candle contributes to the overall illumination, demonstrating that even the smallest acts of positivity and kindness can have a significant impact. We should remember that we are not alone in our endeavors; by coming together and supporting one another, we can overcome even the most formidable challenges. Moreover, this idea imparts a sense of optimism and resilience. It reminds us that change is possible, even in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. By focusing on solutions rather than problems, we can shift our perspective and channel our energy towards creating a brighter future. It invites us to cultivate a mindset of possibility and to believe in our capacity to effect meaningful change.
