Gaurav is passionate about the power of simple ideas that makes the world a better place. After spending a decade in investment banking Gaurav, a lawyer, CA and MS (Fin) found his true calling. Over the last decade Gaurav has worked on discovering and bringing to a large audience ideas that empower. Gaurav was in the introductory class of TEDx Ambassadors and has been a Senior TEDx Ambassador for close to a decade, a speaker at the UN, a member of the parliamentarians forum on Sanitation, a member of the prestigious India Forum, a member of the India Coalition, and panelist and speaker at many national fora, and co-founder of Minds Ignited, that discovers and brings to gatherings of local audiences ideas from within India in multiple languages. Gaurav is also passionate about the power of the local language and was the first Language Coordinator and Translator in Hindi Language on TED.com, providing important guidance to the community in setting up dotsub and amara systems for the open translations project in early years. Gaurav has also been a member of the team that started the TED Music Project.
