Bio
Laura Hampikian is a Boise-based development director and community organizer. She is currently the primary license holder of TEDxBoise and TEDxBoiseWomen. She also works as the Development Director at the Discovery Center of Idaho.
Laura has been involved with numerous start-ups around the Treasure Valley. As a brand consultant, she worked with prominent media personalities such as Dr. Wendy Walsh.
As an anti-violence advocate, Laura has appeared in media spotlights such as Oprah, Nightline, and the New York Times. She has spoken at the United States Capitol, and has given presentations across Idaho in schools, clubs, and college campuses as an advocate for healthy relationships and gender equality.
Laura attended the University of Idaho where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a double major in Marketing and Operations Management.
