Bio
I grew up in India wanting to become a physicist. I attended the Indian Institute of Technology and quickly realised that it was a glacial way to change the world. My second love was media and I moved to London, eventually working on strategy for BBC News.
I got to witness first-hand the challenges facing a modern media organisation, and how great reporting and insight can go to waste -when a correspondent was sent to the front-lines in Afghanistan at considerable expense only for the story to get less than a few minutes of airtime. I resolved to find a way to help users discover such insight and give great journalism greater impact.
After studying at Royal College of Art and Imperial College at the intersection of design and engineering, I and my close friend Srikant Chakravarti founded Curio in 2016.
