Bio
I’m a multi-disciplinary cultural curator, creative producer, and sometimes director. In 2016, I started an intersectional feminist music festival called Gxrlschool, called a “vision for the way forward” by the Los Angeles Times. With Gxrlschool, I’ve worked with artists from Yoko Ono to Fiona Apple. Now I am the music and performance curator for TED, the Event Director for TEDNext, and am one half of the cultural strategy studio Main Office, alongside Abby Gould.
Before all this, I played violin for people like Perfume Genius, Beyoncé, Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros, Sia, Kanye West, Vampire Weekend and Spiritualized. There’s a Gold Record somewhere in my office from my past life as a member of the Airborne Toxic Event. I should probably find it.
I'm passionate about
Why/what makes things [an experience, performance, story, image, campaign, piece of music, etc.] satisfying.
An idea worth spreading
I'd rather hear yours. :)
