About Maria
Bio
From the classroom to the boardroom, Dr. Maria Armstrong inspires hearts and minds. Maria started her education career at the age of 7 when she gathered neighborhood kids and “taught” them reading and math after school. Today, Maria is a highly sought-after consultant and speaker, sharing her experiences of assessing education programs and student progress to recommend curriculum advancement from Puerto Rico to Sacramento, California. When people ask Maria, “What’s it like being a retired Superintendent?” She responds, “Busy because I’m not done yet.”
